Polished Yellow Cat  Agate after Barite Pseudomorph. Large 9 1/2 Pounds. It also has a pocket of white drusy quartz crystals and a calcite crystal. White Fortification agate with light lavender agate. Reddish orange crystal spray.

Pseudomorphs are formed when one mineral replaces the original mineral, in this case the agate replaced the barite.
These pseudomorphs are very rare and not many are found, especially this large. These were found 30 years ago and we are starting to sell our collection. This Pseudomorph is the largest we have cut and polished.
